Pretty Grilled Vegetables
Vegetables
- 4 heads baby bok choy
- 1 green and 1 red bell pepper, seeded and cut into thick wedges
- 1 large sweet onion, cut into large rings
- 1 bundle asparagus
- 1 package of small portabella mushrooms, cleaned and de-stemmed
Marinade
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Pretty-Smith Cabernet Franc
- 1 tablespoon each of fresh basil, thyme and oregano, chopped (or 1 1/2 teaspoon dried)
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tablespoon celery seed
Place all vegetables in 80 oz SealSaver® Vacuum Container. Mix together
marinade ingredients and pour over vegetables and stir. Vacuum seal and marinate for 20 mintues. If not using SealSaver, marinate for 6 hours.
Grill over medium flame in a vegetable basket or barbeque meshed plate for 8 minutes, shaking/stirring often.
Serve over noodles or rice with Pretty-Smith Cabernet Franc.
